Upgrade Needed

Recently, I just read and studied the terms and coverage of my current auto insurance provider and I was not satisfied about it. Because of this, I’m planning to switch to a new insurance company that can provide me a better policy. I’m now looking at a good auto insurance comparison website where you can easily make a good decision on what insurance company to go for. This allows you to compare rates and other important factors a lot easier.


I’ve actually decided on what company to acquire my new insurance from is probably 20 minutes. The comparison feature of the website really helped me and saved me time and effort. Search Continues

Just a few days ago I shared a story about the interest of my mom in buying a car for family service. Well, it seems that my mom and my aunt Cecilia didn’t agree with some things and now we are back to square one in looking for some Used Cars to purchase. This is actually harder than it sounds because my mother is a bit meticulous when it comes to her assets. We are actively asking for friends and relatives if they are selling their cars or if the know someone that they do.


With some hard work and a little luck, one of our friends did express his interest in selling his car. Stephen has around a used Nissan car that he is planning to replace with a new one this year. We visited Stephen and we personally looked at the car and went for a test drive. Though this model is not one of the latest, you will see that the car is really being taken care of. It runs smoothly and it is probably the most comfortable car that I ever rode. My mom still has no comments about it but I’m guessing she just doesn’t want to rejoice until the car is official ours.

Family Service

Our family is scattered in many different places and because of this, we do travel a lot throughout the year. My mom wants to visit her brothers and sisters whenever she has time and I would often accompany her. Since we do not have our own car, we usually use the public transport in traveling. My Aunt Cecilia gave us a call recently and she asked us if we would like to buy her chevy trailblazer. She is planning to buy a new car this year and it will not be practical for them to have to cars.


With my mom’s voice tone when she was telling us about their conversation, I can immediately tell that she is interested in buying the car. Well, I hope we can get a huge discount since Aunt Cecilia and mom are sisters. My aunt takes care of her things very well so we are confident that we are going to buy a pre-owned car that is in perfect condition. The negotiation about the car will probably end in a week. After that, we are going to have our own family ride and will never have to use the public transport for traveling again.

Racing Fanatic

Formula 1 is perhaps the most popular GP in the racing world. I’m not sure of this though. I just got the idea from my friend Mike who knows nothing but to talk about racing. He’d tell stories on just about anything related to racing like changing the wheels in pit stops, how great an Avcomm Headset is and the latest news about the famous drivers. He keeps on saying names I have no idea about. I like how Mike tells his stories though. They make me want to watch F1 races myself and t times I even want to try racing too.


If I’m not mistaken, the race will resume by April of next year. It will start with its Spanish leg and end at Valencia or Europe. However, though the race is still five months from now, Mike is already actively looking for places, people and websites where he can buy the said tickets. When you see Mike’s car, you can immediately tell that he’s really into racing. His car has side skirts, spoilers and really cool bumpers. Though I’m not that into racing, having a car like his would be nice.

Car Talk

Jef is one of my colleagues and he recently bought a car. His car was actually pre-owned but it is still in great shape. Sometimes I get to ride with him on my way home because he lives a few kilometers away from my house. I saw some honda motorcycles pictures in his car and it seems that he is also a part time agent for a motorcycle shop. Anyway, we often talk about cars and he regularly gives me useful tips that I can apply if I ever get my own car in the future. To be honest I don’t really know how to drive yet but it sounds really easy to learn. He promised to teach me how to drive once I’ve bought my own car.


According to Jef, buying a brand new car isn’t the wisest investment that you’ll ever make. In fact, it is not an investment at all because cars depreciate rapidly. He says that it’s better to acquire a pre-owned car and spend a little money to refurnish it and upgrade some of its parts. A disadvantage of having a pre-owned car is that there will definitely small problems in it that you will have to get fixed every once in a while. However, if you are getting a new car, you will only have problems after a couple of year from its acquisition. Getting a new car could be a waste of money and I wouldn’t really want to buy one unless I’m filthy rich.
