Learning a New Sport

After resigning from my previous job, I finally got a new job in the city. The company that I am currently working in is just a small company with around thirty employees working for it. My first few days were stiff but after that, I easily made some friends. Most of the employees here loves playing tennis and they encouraged me to learn the sport. Wanting to make some more friends, I agreed to try and learn the sport.


Yesterday, a few friends accompanied me to buy some stuff that I will need in playing tennis. We chose between Wilson tennis racquets and head rackets because some were suggesting one and some are suggesting the other. Anyway, I decided to take the Wilson raquet because I think it is a more popular brand. I also got a pair of New balance tennis shoes which I loved the first time I laid eyes on them.


We are scheduled to have a practice and tutorial game next week and I’m really excited about it.

Solo Weekend

This weekend is going to be a boring one because I’m going to be left alone at home. My mom and dad are planning to visit my aunt because she is currently in the hospital. She had undergone an operation because she had hemorrhoids. I have to stay at home to do some chores so this weekend is sure to be a boring one. I’ve bought Motorcycle DVDs to keep myself busy at night. At least I could do something worthy then.


I already asked a friend to accompany me this weekend but she hasn’t confirmed yet. She would probably have to ask her parents’ permission and check out on her schedule first. Well, I sure hope she could make it. The tendency of me getting crazy because of boredom this weekend is high. Anyway, I also hope my aunt is gets well soon so she could come with us in our family trip to Europe this coming month.

Tips for Adventurous Trips

Adventurous trips are second most popular travel destinations of today. Thrill and real time challenges in the trips fill the imaginative minds of young people. Jungles, mountains, rivers and sea are most admired adventurous destinations. Adventures offer different level of difficulties and so special skills and safety measures are needed. If you are backpacking, minimize the personal items and increase safety stuffs such as medicines, and extra water bottles.

Run For Your Life!

Traveling is one of my favorite form recreations. I spend good amount of money on it and waste a lot of time just thinking where to go next. Earlier today, I had some time to reminisce about my past travel experiences. I had one of the best activities experienced when I got to visit Madrid of Spain last summer. I usually run during mornings to maintain a good health so when I went there, my interest was in their event called the “Running with the Bulls”. The event was known to the world and experiencing one is really something.


There were a lot of other people who visited Madrid just to see the event. If you take a look around, you’ll get the impression that almost every country in the world has its representatives to see this event. I was one of the guys who insanely went in the middle of the road and have the bulls run after you. It does look easy on videos but definitely not in real life. Just imagine a bull that is more than a thousand pound running after you with his pointed horns. If you participate in this event you will realize that you are literally running for your life.

Wade - the Flash

The Miami Heat is included in the teams with the highest overall rating last season. They are definitely a strong team with Shaquille O’neal guarding the boards, Williams initiating the plays and of course, Dwyane Wade hitting some clutch shots. Wade is the main reasons why all the Miami Heat Tickets sold are worth every penny you spend on them. On court, he is not only a competitive athlete but also a great artist. The way he drives to the basket, shakes of his man and suspends in mid-air. All I can say is that he’s awesome.


Quickness is probably the greatest asset of Wade and the worst nightmare of his opponents. Filling up the shooting guard spot, he can slash to the hoop if you guard him too close or he can use your head as a target aim. To most people, Wade is probably just another good basketball player. However, for me, Wade is a hero. He inspires the youth to engage in sports and instill good values like self discipline, team work, and perseverance. More than just playing and court, Wade shows a heart of a champion.

Auckland in Sports

Auckland is a city that is surrounded by clear blue waters and because of this, it is one of the top destinations for sailing. In fact, Auckland is also known as the City of Sails. This year, the Waitakere World Junior Badminton Championships is going to be held in this city. The said championship is going to be held in Trusts Stadium which has been a venue to many important events like concerts, trade shows and sports.


I’m pretty sure that every Auckland Accommodation provider is full of guests that anticipate the said event right now. My aunt booked her room a couple of months ago. According to her, she does not mind paying more for Hotels in Auckland that are near the Trusts Stadium. I’m not really a fan of badminton but sailing definitely looks exciting. I guess I already have the perfect spot to go to on my next summer holiday. I hope I can get good deals from Auckland Hotels so I can save some bucks.

Paintball Madness

Paintball is one of the coolest sports I’ve ever seen. It involves both intelligence and physical strength. This sport can be played either indoor or outdoor. In my opinion, the best time to play this is during a camping trip. After fixing your things and putting all your camping and outdoor gear in place, playing paintball is perfect. Wearing Military clothes will make games more realistic, fun and exciting.


This sport comes in different variations. Most of these games are similar to the PC game called counter strike. The game is composed of two teams that will compete in different goals such as, saving a VIP person, rescuing hostages, obtaining team flags or eliminating all opposing players. Whatever variation it is that you’ve decided to play, paintball ensures safe and exciting entertainment.
