A Birthday Wish

Last week a friend of mine invited me to her birthday party. It was my first time to visit their house and I can say they treated me very nicely. After introducing me to her parents, she took me to her bedroom. Her room is really spacious, clean and stylish and it has its own bathroom. I was surprised when I saw it because it is not like any other bathroom. It is almost entirely made of glass. She said that every bedroom in the house has its own bathroom, but my friend’s bathroom is different.

Her bathroom is really nice, especially the glass sink. It is fabulous, clean, well scented and wide. It is made up of different colors and is complete with all the bathroom fixtures and accessories. She told me that this is her birthday wish because she wants to have the most stylish sink in town.

My Room and the Afternoon Sun

My room is facing the afternoon sun, meaning, it’s in the west direction. So that means, my room is not the best, but the worst place to stay at around two to three in the afternoon, when the sun is so blazing hot and furious. I’m thinking of buying replacement windows to at least compensate the afternoon sun, or maybe improve the lay out of my room and place my cabinet to cover the heat of the sun.

Oh, I really don’t know what to do! During weekend afternoons, I can’t even enjoy the comfort of my room. I want to sleep but the bright King Sun would peek through my window and wake me up. I’m just thinking right now that when I’ll buy my own house, I’ll choose the room with no afternoon sun. I just don’t like too much light at day. It makes my eyes weep.

Time Management Then and Now

Time management is very important for everyone especially for those people who are engaged in a business. Time is equal to money and wasted time is already equal to profit loss. Of course, no businessman wants to lose profits, right? This is the reason why many companies invest on project time tracking software. My bosses met up with someone that offers the software this morning and now, we’re expecting its implementation in the next few days. I am not very much familiar about the software but I know that it’s for the betterment of the company as well as the sake of every employee.

Oh, I can still remember what a huge issue is time management then when I was still a student. And if it’s an issue then, it should definitely an issue in the business world now. Anyway, we should really value time especially if there’s money involved.

Online Shopping for my Harley

I got a little problem with my Harley Davidson motorcycle so I had it checked in a motorcycle shop this morning. Unfortunately, one of its parts has to be replaced but the part I need is out of stock. Thank goodness to the very many online stores that offers Harley Davidson parts. All I need to do is know the name of the part I need and I have the option to choose from hundreds of online stores that offer motorcycle parts.

It’s my first time to buy a motorcycle part but I didn’t have a hard time with my shopping task. Just a few search and clicks, I landed on a site that can give exactly what I need: quality, reliability and affordability. I finished my shopping in just a few minutes and my order is now in process. By tomorrow, I can have my Harley Davidson back in shape again.

Yasashiku for my First Boy

If I were given the chance to have a baby boy, I would derive his name from a Japanese baby name. I’m just fond of copying Kanji characters when I was a kid; so if I’ll have a son, I want him to write his name both in the Roman alphabet and Kanji characters. There are so many Japanese baby boy names and I think anyone would be a good option for my baby.

Japanese names often come in pairs, where one character is usually an adjective while the other is derived from another family member’s name. If you will try to surf the net for Japanese names, you’ll discover that names are already classified whether it’s for a baby boy or girl. Although Japanese baby girl names have much more options, the web could still help me for my boy’s name; and I want to name him Yasashiku, meaning gentle and polite.

High School Crush

Aidie was my classmate in high school and she was my all time crush. With her beautiful eyes and gentle voice, any man would definitely fall for her. She was also a member of the school choir and she had the most beautiful singing voice among all members. After graduating from high school, we still remained friends but didn’t go to the same college. This is because I can’t afford going to the college that she preferred. Last thing I know is that is now a great engineer and that she visited Okinawa in Japan to attend a seminar.

We are going to see each other again this coming Christmas get together of our group of friends and I’m really excited. Though I know that she now has her boyfriend, I still want to see her and talk to her. My friends know how I like her and they often tease me for that. Well, I don’t really mind that because it’s true. I’m planning to give her a friendly gift in our gathering and I hope she accepts it. I have to look my best in that get together and I will make sure that I will and make all necessary preparations.

the Honeymoon

The family is having a reunion this coming weekend. This is to announce the engagement of my cousin Gary and Lisa. My Aunt Nitz who is from Canada just arrived this morning and she was more excited than we are. She said that she is planning to pay for the newly wed’s honeymoon expenses. Well, I think that’s a great gift idea. We could have thought of that if we could afford it. Aunt Nitz asked us for if we have any idea if my cousin would like to visit Cape Town and to be honest, we don’t.

Anyway, who wouldn’t want a free honeymoon trip? Whether it’s a just a trip within the country or a trip to a paradise far away, I’ll still take it. I’m not getting married any time soon but I sure hope that my Aunt will also think of giving me such gift. I’m really excited for my brother but I will try my best not to say anything to him until his wedding day. Tomorrow we are going to talk to a travel agent that my mom knows and try to get a little discount for my Aunts gift.
