Learning About the Hepatitis B
A news recently reached me and it is about a high school friend Joan having a disease called hepatitis b. This was a really bad news because we used to be really close to each other. Some of my friends and I are planning to visit Joan this coming weekend. For the mean time, I was curious and eager to learn about the disease; what are its symptoms and effects on the patient that carries the hepatitis virus.
As usual, the first resource that I turn to for this information is the internet. I found HepatitisInfo.org really useful and helpful for people like me who want to know about hepatitis more. Through them, I’ve also learned that every year, the world celebrates May 19 as the World Hepatitis Day. This means that this month, various organizations act to make the whole world aware about the disease, how to prevent it, the cure for it and how to deal with it. I’m going to tell Joan about it and hope that it gives her hope.
